Schools

In 2009, 85 Schools from all over the North of England, took part in the Children's Cancer Run, raising just over £75,000 out of a total amount of £170,000.

All schools competing in the run will receive a certificate recognising their contribution and will be entered into the Schools Challenge.  Prizes (including the Sandy Weir Trophy) will be given on the presentation evening (which usually takes place in September) to the school raising the greatest amount overall by September 2011.
